Programme for the Day

Guided tour and talk

These tours are ticketed with limited capacity. Outside ticketed times, guests are welcome to wander freely through the showroom.

Experience Iconic Pianos Up Close

Guests can book a supervised 5 minute slot to play:

  • The BBC Proms Piano, A Model D Concert Grand from our Concert & Artist fleet

Sessions are supervised and ticketed, with all proceeds donated to charity. Slots are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The day will feature the following special instruments:

  • The Beatles' Imagine Piano
  • Queen's Touring Piano

Practical notes

  • Free to attend. Walk ins welcome.
  • Guided tours/talks and supervised play sessions require booking.
  • Photography is allowed. Please be mindful of other guests while filming or photographing.
  • Merchandise will be available for purchase, card only.
  • Please note there may be a film crew present during the day.

Are the tours free?

Entry to the Open Day is free. The guided tours/talks and the supervised play sessions are limited and require tickets.

Can I walk around without a ticket?

Yes. Apart from the ticketed sessions, you are welcome to explore the showroom throughout the afternoon.

What is included in a play slot?

A supervised 10 minute session on the Beatles' Imagine piano and a Model D Concert Grand from our Concert & Artist fleet, used for the Proms. Proceeds support charity.

Is the building accessible?
