Piano Recital of Louis Alvanis at Rudolf Steiner House London

International pianist Louis Demetrius Alvanis performs a program of popular piano favourites, featuring the lyrical Sonata No.10 by Mozart, Beethoven’s two-movement masterwork Sonata No.22, and influential classics by Chopin; the highly emotional Ballade No.1 and the glittering Andante Spianato & Grande Polonaise Brillante.
The program also features the first performance of Wait a Second, a gripping new work by the contemporary Danish composer Gregers Brinch which draws the listener towards his unique use of sonority and texture.
