Paolo Rinaldi is a Steinway Artist and Fellow of Trinity College London. Born in Italy to accomplished musicians and pedagogues, he completed his Bachelor of Music with honors in Mantova (Italy) before moving to London, where he earned a Master of Music and Post-Master’s Studies, both with distinction, at Trinity Laban Conservatoire under the tutelage of Deniz Arman Gelenbe. He continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Christopher Elton, Diana Ketler, and Sulamita Aronovsky.

Paolo has won numerous competitions, including the John Longmire Piano Competition, the Elizabeth Schumann Lieder Duo Competition, and the Alfred Kitchin Piano Competition, all in London. In 2019, he won the Elite Piano Competition of the North London International Music Festival and was awarded the David Gosling Prize for “Outstanding Pianist” by Trinity Laban.

Paolo has performed over 100 recitals across Europe and worldwide. His UK appearances include performances at Steinway Hall, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Conway Hall, Athenaeum Club, Regent Hall, Woodville Halls, St. James’s Piccadilly, Southwark Cathedral, St. Giles’ Cathedral, The Polish Heart Club of Kensington, and the Great Blackheath Halls. He has also played for notable organizations such as the Beethoven Society of Europe, Amici del Quartetto, and GIA Brescia, and he recently performed at the Wiener Saal in Salzburg, Austria. Paolo has toured India, performing at prestigious venues including Prithvi Theatre, the National Centre for the Performing Arts, and Mazda Hall. He is in great demand as a concert soloist in Italy and the UK.

In addition to his performing career, Paolo is passionate about passing on musical knowledge to the next generation. He teaches at the Conservatory of Music of Mantua, privately, and across Europe, where he is frequently invited to music festivals to give masterclasses and serve as an adjudicator.

Recent engagements include the release of three professional CDs with Da Vinci Publishing (“The Art of Polyphony,” “Fryderyk Chopin,” and “Brahms – Piano Works”), and the presentation of summer masterclasses at Villa Magni and Forte dei Marmi (Tuscany). He has also served as adjudicator for international music competitions, such as the Platina International Grand Prize and the Klousios International Summer Music Festival.

Paolo was recently invited to perform Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto at Milan’s Eco Teatro under the baton of Paolo Marchese, and has performed Mozart’s Piano Concertos K.456 and K.595 in Piadena and Cremona. Additionally, he performed Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the Brescia Artematica Master Orchestra under Benoît Fromanger and Mozart’s Piano Concerto K.466 with the Bazzini Consort Orchestra, conducted by Aram Khacheh.
