Introduced in 1911, the popular Model M was for many years the smallest Steinway grand piano in production. Today, at just under 5′ 7″ in length, the Model M continues to embody the immutable tone and hand-crafted quality found only in Steinway pianos, but in a size that smaller rooms can accommodate. This certified pre-owned piano was first manufactured in Hamburg in 1926 and retains the original mahogany case.
This piano has been lovingly restored at the Steinway and Sons Restoration Centre in London by our dedicated team of technicians. It has been completely re-strung but retaining the original soundboard and a new action has been fitted. The original damper mechanism and keyboard have been overhauled and the ivory keytops replaced with Ivoplast as fitted to new Steinway pianos. All work has met the uncompromising standards of Steinway & Sons craftsmanship, integrity of design, materials and the use of 100% genuine parts. The piano has a five-year warranty valid from the date of purchase which covers new parts and labour.
